WHO WE ARE:

We are a community developed by and for women* in creative industries. We exist to turn talk into action. We help break down barriers, share ideas, stories and resources, and build connections that will help us all grow personally and professionally.

WHO YOU ARE:

You are a driven, high-achieving woman* established in your career within a creative industry and interested in actionable ways to grow both personally and professionally.

*We are LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and while you'll find some of our space is a "no boys" zone, many of our activities, events and channels are inclusive of all.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

We offer regular opportunities to gather and learn from people who inspire us to grow, with a goal turning that dialog into actions we can take to help foster growth for ourselves and others. We offer thought-provoking and empowering conversation around current topics and trends, and discuss them through the lens of "how does this relate to me as a woman working in a creative industry?" 

TOPICS WE COVER

  1. FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT
    We’ll expand on the tactics all women can use to help identify financial opportunities, ask for and claim their worth.

  2. EQUITY & DEFINING OUR SPACE
    Many creative industries were originally designed for men (particularly white men) to succeed. We’re redefining the rules of engagement and what success is on our terms.

  3. WORK/LIFE INTEGRATION
    Let’s make caring for a family or yourself something you can do WHILE owning a career without the concern of judgement or guilt. 

  4. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & SELF ADVOCACY
    We’ll help you perfect conversation and negotiation skills and develop your voice so you can sell yourself in a way that feels natural, compassionate, and empowered.

  5. SELF CARE AND HEALTHY PRODUCTIVITY
    Let’s focus on ways we can stay centered and get sh*t done without compromising our boundaries or burning out.

  6. ROLE MODELS, CHAMPIONS & ALLYSHIP
    We’ll spotlight examples of leadership we admire and foster allyship to help raise all ships.

And while we lead the charge to ignite conversation, we are not a one-way broadcast. We are an information exchange platform that invites you to help shape the conversation, engage in our events, ask questions, make connections and share your stories. Most of all, we foster a fun, and positive environment where you feel comfortable being yourself and engaging openly no matter what the topic.
